Our story began one December evening in 2023, when what was meant to be a quick drink turned into hours of effortless conversation. A second date soon followed at a cosy Thai restaurant, where we talked and laughed until the lights went out and the staff closed up. After that night ended, we knew something special had begun.

Even when we were apart, we couldn’t stay away from each other. Dami travelled to The Gambia, and later Dan journeyed through Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. Yet no matter the distance, the time zones, or even the mosquitoes buzzing during late-night calls, we found ways to stay connected. Every call, every shared view, every whispered goodnight only drew us closer.

By Valentine’s, we had already begun weaving our lives together with dinners at home, nights out, and adventures that made us realise how much joy we found in simply being together. We discovered how much we loved to travel, explore, cook side by side, and spend hours talking about everything and nothing.

In 2025, Dan planned the perfect proposal in Morocco. With golden light, breathtaking views, and a hidden photographer to capture it all, he asked the question- and of course, Dami said YES.

What started as a spark over late-night cocktails has grown into a love that has carried us across continents, filled our days with laughter, honesty, and devotion, and led us here. Now we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you – our lifetime of love, adventure, and togetherness.
